The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is European Union legislation to strengthen and unify data protection laws for all individuals within the European Union. The regulation came into effect from May 25th, 2018.
As a French business, founded and run by French citizens, but also as people who value privacy, we are committed to complying with data protection laws, including the GDPR. Our approach includes:

What data do we collect? β

Our website (as opposed to our web Scrapoxy APIs) is hosted by OVH in France.
1. Information We Collect in the Website and APIs β
We, CoreDump Engineering ("we", "us", "our"), collect information as described below. Our information collection practices comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and are described comprehensively in our Privacy Policy.

1.1 Website Visitor Data β
We use Google analytics to help us understand, in anonymized form, how the site is being used.
1.2 User Account Information β
Registering for a free trial requires acceptance of our publicly available terms & conditions.
On our APIs: β
Our API servers are hosted with OVH a French based cloud provider OVH privacy policy
When you send us an API request we send you a response and then log the query. We later analyze the logs to see how we can improve our Software. We don't log the response content.
1.4 Communication Data β
We use the data collected to communicate with you regarding our service.
Customer/Financial transaction information: β
If you become a paying customer (as opposed to just using our free trial) you will need to provide us and our payment partners (Stripe for the payment processing, invoicing and VAT) with valid billing information. We will be able to see your name, billing address, email address, and VAT number (if you have provided one). We are not able to see your credit card number, only Stripe has access to that.
As any business, we of course share transaction data with our accountants and with the relevant tax authorities when we pay VAT and file our annual tax return.

Becoming a customer of our service implies acceptance of our Data Processing Agreement , unless otherwise explicitly agreed with us in writing.
How to Exercise Your Rights β
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@scrapoxy.io. We will respond to all legitimate requests within one month.
Data deletion β
Any user (paid or free-trial) can request to have their account deleted at any time, this can be done by contacting us at contact@scrapoxy.io. For paying customers we of course have to keep records of all completed transactions for tax purposes.
